Though on a vacation, it seems that Matt Cutts could not totally leave his work. He can’t help but commenting on a post made by Nicholas Carr on his blog. The post was actually about Google’s plan to police the web from websites that install viruses, trojans, or other badware. According to Matt, this is not true at all because this is not a plan of Google but instead, Google was already doing this for sometime.

All in all, I think Google does a pretty good job of protecting users from getting infected, while at the same time providing tools that assist webmasters in detecting and correcting hacked urls that could spread malware.

He even compared Google to other search engines and said that he thinks Google provides better service and more protection above them. Now that’s some dedication.
